Fields-CFI-CQAM Industrial Problem-Solving Workshop 2021 (Jul 19 -30, 2021)

Thank you for your interest in the Fields-CFI-CQAM Industrial Problem-Solving Workshop 2021, which is taking place online from Jul 19 -30, 2021. 

We invite everyone (faculty, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students) to apply to participate in this IPSW via the form below. 

This application form contains three parts: Personal Information, College/University Information, and Reference Information. All three pages must be completed in order for your application to be considered. 

Graduate Student Stipends

Up to 20 graduate students will be offered a CAD$1,000 stipend for participating in this two week workshop. Please note that these engagements are not supposed to supplant current work or stipends. Working on an Industrial Problem Solving Workshop project should be taken on in addition to your existing work. Graduate Students who are invited to participate in the workshop and are selected for a stipend will have to invoice the Fields Institute for their stipend and will have to handle any income tax implications on their own. 

We will start reviewing applications on July 5, 2021 at 9:00am Eastern Time (Toronto). This application form will remain open until all positions are filled.
